What is KYC, how to do it and why? – Mechachain English

KYC is a mandatory process to allow us to verify your identity, avoid multiple account generation and money laundering.

You must have your KYC to be able to withdraw your Mechanium during the public sale.

This data is secured and stored in France, it is mandatory.

Your browser may ask for permission to access your camera. Please accept.

You can do the verification as a human being with your computer's webcam OR by using the QR code with your smartphone. Everything is perfectly synchronized.

Then click on scan face and make sure you are in a well-lit room, increase the light of your screen to the maximum.

Your face will be scanned to prove that you are not a robot. Follow the instructions on the screen and position your face in the center.

Congratulations, you are validated as a human being! Click on the button to continue.

Then click on the "identity" button.

Then select your country. If it does not appear, it is impossible to invest in MechaChain.

Choose the document to use:

ID card.
Passport.

The driving license does not validate your identity.

You can validate the document either by sending photos or by using the camera on your phone or computer to take a new photo. Choose the option that suits you.

For the passport, you must take a photo of both pages.

For the identity card, you must take a photo and a photo on the back.

Please respect the following conditions:

Your document must not be expired.
The 4 corners must be visible.
The photo must be of good quality.

Once submitted, your document will be manually checked. Your status is marked as "pending".

In less than an hour, your document will be considered validated if you have complied with all these guidelines and you will be able to purchase Mechanium.

If your KYC is not validated, you can be :

Pending: no worries, just be patient.
Rejected: in this case, we invite you to contact us by email to help you unblock the situation or to indicate the reasons for the rejection.
