Does investing in Mechachain require KYC (identity verification)?

Yes, there will be 2 types of KYC. For investors under €10,000, there will be a light KYC process with passport/national ID number. For investors over €10,000, we will have a KYC process with proof of domicile.

This process requires either an ID card or a passport.

The purpose of KYC is also to prevent theft, fraud, terrorist financing and money laundering.
